Ali Valdez is proud to serve as the Parent Liaison at Street Academy, where she fosters connections within the school community. A 2020 graduate of Street Academy, Ali earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from CSU-Sacramento and plans to pursue a Master’s in Social Work to deepen her commitment to serving the Oakland community.

Her experience as a student at Street Academy instilled in her the value of a strong, supportive community, inspiring her to take on this role. Ali focuses on building relationships with parents, providing resources, and creating opportunities for collaboration and connection to support students and families.

Dedicated to strengthening the Street Academy community, Ali looks forward to working with parents to make every school year a success.
